Voted off during Top 4 week - Allison Iraheta

allison_irahetaAllison Iraheta has been voted off during Top 4 week of American Idol Season 8.

Allison received the lowest number of votes from viewers during the week’s voting period.

Kris Allen was the first contestant to be declared “safe” for the week. He was then joined by Adam Lambert in the “safe” camp, while Allison & Danny Gokey were left standing on stage to receive their fates.

The judges were not impressed with Allison’s performance of “Cry Baby”.

Last week (Top 5), Matt Giraud was eliminated.

  • I was so shocked that Adam ever even got close to the bottom three. HE HONESTLY IS THE BEST CONTESTANT EVER TO BE ON IDOL. EVER !!!! He is so far above the rest in talent and creativity. He is indeed an artist !! I look forward to each week to be able to see what outstanding performance he will give to us each week. We must keep voting and voting strong because Adam deserves to win. The other three are very good singers but all around they can’t come close to Adam in his creativity and vocal ability and not only does he enjoy what he does but he wants us to enjoy it as well!!!! So everyone please keep voting !! We are the only ones that can give Adam what appears to be his dream. And our opportunity to be able to enjoy his music and talent past American Idol season 8. So keep voting everyone !!! And thank you Adam for all the enjoyment you have given to us !!! GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!

The same talking back and arguing help to get Lil Rounds voted off as well. Simon made a comment to Allison when she was mouthing off…..he said “By the way Allison, I like the fact that you are arguing to yourself” or something like that, when I heard that I knew her time was up, and perhaps America did not like the talking back either because they did not give her enough votes like they did last week when Adam was placed in the bottom 3. I know I never wasted my energy to vote for her. Adam is a better candidate and deserves to win. I knew America was not going to make that same mistake like last week and we have to keep those votes coming in for the next two weeks - DON’T SLACK OFF PLEASE KEEP VOTING FOR ADAM LAMBERT.

Great! It was time she was sent home - America - you don’t give lip where it is not due, she expressed herself rather rude to Simon - plus that recording contract and $50,000 she won three years ago haunted her…..I was getting sick of her raspy, husky voice …it was killing her. I am delighted that she was sent home. If she did not get enough votes and rock is her genre, could you imagine the next two weeks she would not have survived…. I am soooo happy Kris and Danny gets another shot at the competition. Allison will get her breaks too we know that but she needs to grow up a bit more then she will be ready for the real world. She was too childish, Jordin Sparks was that same age when she won American Idol and she was not as childish as Allison.

Actually there wasn’t a “bottom three.” There were three safe seats and one who went home. We don’t know what order the top three were. They picked them in random order, and just because Kris sat down first, Ryan did not say he got the most votes. He was just the first to be declared safe. At least that’s the way it seemed to me. Anyone?
