Voted off during American Idol Top 11 week - Alexis Grace
Alexis Grace has been voted off during Top 11 week of American Idol Season 8.
The judges considered using their one “save” for the season to bring Alexis back.
However, after her performance again of “Jolene”, the judges decided not to use the save as they thought it was not good enough.

Alexis sang her heart out to get the judges to use the save. She sang the song well but, Dolly sings it so distinctly that you can’t get her rendition out of your mind. and, Alexis just couldn’t match up to her. Contestants should not take on songs by unique and distinct artists. It makes their task almost impossible.
